The Backstreet Boys have recorded 18 songs for their new album. The guys have been hard at work ever since wrapping up their tour earlier this year. They updated fans with a Twitter post, noting “There are about 18 songs recorded so far.” They also mentioned how Wyclef dropped into the studio recently and loved their new tracks. The as-of-yet-untitled set is expected out later this year. It comes on the heels of 2007′s Unbreakable. [Source]

Backstreet Boys join forces with T-Pain in a newly-arrived track ‘She’s a Dream’, which reportedly will be listed in the band’s forthcoming album.

A fresh material titled “She’s a Dream” from Backstreet Boys has made its round. Featuring rapper T-Pain on the line, the song reportedly is recorded for the boyband’s upcoming eight studio album, which is a follow-up to their 2007 set “Unbreakable“.

The album’s release date as well as its working title are yet to be disclosed. Words are, Akon, Pitbull and Lil Wayne will be lined up as featured guests. Furthermore, Jazze Pha and Max Martin are booked to work behind production table for the record.

Most recently, the band posted a message on their Twitter, giving an update about the new effort. They said they were in a “business meeting” with their management team and many ideas for the album are shared. They ended the post stating, “Listening to music. Figuring out next steps.” [Source]
