Backstreet Boys busy in 2014

Posted by Staff in Dec 12,2013 with No Comments

Earlier this week it was announced that AJ, Brian, Howie, Kevin, Nick will return to London next year on July 6th to perform at Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park – as special guests alongside pop supergroup McBusted!

The very special date comes on top of Backstreet Boys’ hugely popular UK tour which kicks off in March.

Beginning March 26th at Birmingham’s LG Arena, the ‘In A World Like This’ tour will include dates at The O2 in Dublin, Manchester’s Phones 4u Arena, Glasgow’s Hydro and The O2 in London. With the boys being unable to cater to public demand by adding a second date at London’s O2, they jumped at the opportunity to give their fans another chance to see them live in London as a part of the line-up at the upcoming Hyde Park show.

Backstreet Boys said: ‘We saw the excitement about McBusted first hand when we were in the UK last month, so when we received a special invitation to take to the stage at Hyde Park next summer we could not say no! We can’t wait to get back to the UK for our tour in March and April and to now have the chance to return to London in the summer will make 2014 extra special for our fans.” Read the rest of this entry »

The Backstreet Boys are getting ready to deck the halls in the nation’s capital this holiday season.

The boy band is set to perform at Christmas in Washington along with Sheryl Crow, Anna Kendrick, Janelle Monáe and Pat Monahan.

Hugh Jackman is set to host this year’s festivities, which are celebrating their 32nd anniversary. The concert, which is attended annually by the president and first lady, will be taped at the National Building Museum on Dec. 15. It will air as a special at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Dec. 20 on TNT.

Charles Barkley, NBA Hall of Famer and analyst for TNT’s Inside the NBA, will make a special guest appearance at the holiday extravaganza, which benefits the Children’s National Health System. [Source]

The Backstreet Boys debut new music video

Posted by Staff in Nov 20,2013 with No Comments

The Backstreet Boys, one of the most successful boy bands of all time, are back with their new music video.

The track, Show ‘Em What You’re Made Of, is the second single from their new album and the band took to their official Facebook page on Tuesday morning to share the video with their fans.

“Here it is… the world premiere for our music video,” they announced.

“This song is very personal and special to us. We hope you love it as much as we do.”

The video features Kevin, Howie, AJ, Nick and Brian – now all in their 30s and 40s – displaying little signs of aging as they show off their toned physiques.

Gone is the squeaky-clean image of their heyday, though, as the men go for a darker look with chains and an impressive collection of tattoos between them. Read the rest of this entry »
